Isfandiyar in consultation with Gurgsar
Public Notes
After surviving the blizzard, Isfandiyar summons his followers to continue their journey. Having been told by Gurgsar that there is no water to be found on their route, Isfandiyar is surprised to hear the cry of a heron flying overhead. He challenges Gurgsar to explain himself, which he does by deceitfully announcing that there is only brackish and poisonous water to be found, which birds and beasts drink of necessity. Isfandiyar understands that his guide is deceiving him in an effort to deter his quest.
