Public Notes
This manuscript is extremely similar in form, calligraphy and paintings to the Indian ms. held at Trinity College, Dublin, which is dated 1147 AH - over 150 years later than this ms. The striking similarity makes it a good candidate for a case study of the two copies. (A.M.).

For a detailed description of the manuscript and its illustrations, see Bagher Najafi, Shahnama-ha-ye Iran, pp. 323-6.

Project Notes
The date given in the colophon (948 AH ?) seems highly suspicious - needs to be checked.

NB the former number was 982.
